Composition:
This bouclé-blend stretch fabric is composed of 51% polyester, 15% acrylic, 10% wool, 12% viscose, 6% elastane, and 6% polyamide, with a substantial weight of 793 g/m². The looped, nubby construction and mixed fibers create a richly textured surface with a resilient yet comfortable hand feel.

Durability:
The heavy 793 g/m² weight gives the fabric a full-bodied, sturdy character. Combined with an abrasion resistance of 20,000 Martindale cycles, it offers good durability for regular use in upholstered furniture.

Feature:
Its distinctive bouclé construction features large, irregular loops and prominent nubby granules that create a tactile, three-dimensional surface with a warm, organic character. The blended fibers give the fabric a richly textured, inviting appearance.

Comfort:
The mix of wool, viscose, and stretch fibers delivers a soft yet resilient hand feel. The elastane content allows the fabric to move with the body, providing a comfortable, adaptive seating experience and a tactile, textured surface.

Climate:
The wool content offers natural warmth and insulation, making the fabric cozy in cooler weather. The combination of synthetic and viscose fibers provides moderate breathability, helping it remain comfortable across seasons, though it is less airy than 100% cotton.

Stain Resistance:

The polyester, acrylic and polyamide content gives this fabric better inherent moisture and stain resistance than 100% cotton. However, the wool and viscose portions can still absorb liquids, so promptly treating spills and following proper care instructions is recommended.

Pet-Friendliness:
The looped, nubby bouclé surface has more texture than a short pile and may catch loose pet hair or be prone to snagging from claws. Regular vacuuming can help keep the surface clean, but this texture is generally less pet-friendly than smoother, shorter-pile fabrics.

Maintenance:

Regular vacuuming with a soft upholstery attachment is recommended to remove dust and loose particles, taking care not to pull the loops. For spills, gently blot the affected area with a clean, absorbent cloth and follow the recommended fabric-care instructions. Avoid excessive moisture, harsh cleaning products, and anything that could snag the textured surface.
